Section the hair into 4 equal parts for easier application. Take 12 inch sections and apply color starting 12 inches away from the scalp, down to the shaft of the hair. Add color until all 4 sections are completed and process for 15 minutes. Apply the remainder of the color at the scalp area and process for an additional 30 minutes. For gray coverage, process for a total of 45 minutes. Rinse, shampoo and condition using One N’ Only Argan Oil Moisture Repair Shampoo & Conditioner.
How do I figure out how much developer to use? 🤔
To figure out your mixing ratio, you’ll need to know your natural hair depth or level, and how much gray you have. Generally, it’s 1 part color to 2 parts developer. If you want to deposit color or lift just one level, use 10 volume developer. For more lift, 20 volume developer gives you a couple of levels of lift, 30 volume developer lifts about 3 levels, and 40 volume developer can lift up to 4 levels.
