Once all 4 sections are covered, let it process for 15 minutes. After that, apply the rest of the color to the scalp area and let it process for another 30 minutes. For gray coverage, make sure to let it process for a total of 45 minutes. Finally, rinse, shampoo, and condition your hair.

A: You’ll want to use a 1:2 mixing ratio, meaning 1 part color to 2 parts developer. If you want to just deposit color or get 1 level of lift, use 10 volume developer. For 2 levels of lift, go with 20 volume developer. If you’re looking for 3 levels of lift, use 30 volume developer, and for 4 levels of lift, use 40 volume developer.
