Size Guide

Use the above size guide to determine the amount of henna needed for your application.

Please use appropriate quantities of both powders to get the best results.

• Short Hair: Use 1/3 of the pack of medium brown & 1/3 pack of pure henna.
• Shoulder Length Hair: Use 2/3 of the pack of both powders, this would be around 8 tablespoons.
• Mid Back length hair: Full pack will be required for a mid back length hair.
• Hip Length Hair: 1 full pack & one half pack needed for hip length hair.
• Full Beard: 2/3 of a pack or 8 tbsp needed.
• Half Beard / Goatee: 1/3 of a pack or 4.5 tbsp needed.

how to Apply Medium Brown Henna

Our henna kit comes with 100 grams of medium brown henna, a shower cap, gloves & application instructions.

• Pour full pack of medium brown henna (100g, included in the kit) & full pack of henna powder (50g included in the kit) into a Non-Metallic bowl.
• Use freshly brewed black coffee (highly recommended for better results) or lukewarm water if coffee or tea is not accessible at the time of application.
• Slowly pour coffee/water into the bowl and start stirring until the paste is formed; the final mixture should have a cake batter-like consistency.
• Preparing the mixture a night before use would be highly recommended for new henna users.
• Part your hair into 2 sections, start applying the paste thoroughly, working from front and going backwards.
• once applied, cover your hair with Saran Wrap or shower cap; the heat produced by this wrap will ensure proper dye release.
