I bought this product after watching some YouTube tutorials, showing how great it can be to easily add some temporary hair color. It looked like it would be easy to use, which it was. However, the reviewers seemed to say that it made their hair feel Fuller and had a nice texture, but what this really means is that it makes your hair feel like stiff straw. The purple residue got EVERYWHERE, despite me wearing a towel on my shoulders when applying it, and placing a towel on my pillow. I was left with purple tinged sheets, pillow case, pajamas, even the floor got slick with purple residue. Here is the first part: It made me positively ill for 2 days! I had an awful migraine almost instantly, after applying the spray, and made me dizzy, woozy and nauseous. This stuff gets in so badly, that every time I blew my nose for the next WEEK, it came out purple!! And somehow my husband was loving his nose purple for next couple of days too!! It is a obviously horribly unhealthy mixture of chemicals. And if that wasn’t enough, when I tried washing out in the shower, this stuff would not be off without a fight. I had to shampoo over and over because my hair felt stuff and sticky, and it took out tons of my already not-too-thick hair. This was a couple of weeks ago and my hair looks so much thinner now.
