500 Acrylic Nail Tips Application Steps

• Step 1: Cleanse & Prep Nails
  • Prepare the nails by removing any traces of old nail polish, gel, or glues on the surface of the natural nail.
  • Gently push the cuticles back with a cuticle pusher and cut off any dead skin if required.
  • Wash & dry hands/nails thoroughly.
  • Pro Tip: Lightly buff the natural nails with a nail file and then cleanse the nails with an alcohol or acetone based nail wipe or similar.
• Step 2: Apply Glue
  • Apply an adequate layer of nail glue evenly to the false nail tip. Cover all of the nail required including the edges.
  • Pro Tip: Size up the nail tips against the natural nails and arrange them in order so you can easily apply the correct tips as you go.
• Step 3: Stick On The Nail Tips
  • Apply the nail tip at a 45° angle to prevent air bubbles.
  • Lightly press the nail down for 5-10 seconds or until firmly bonded.

  • Pro Tip: Holding the tip securely whilst filing and buffing into shape reduces movement and vibrations. This is quicker, feels more comfortable for the client and prevents the tip from pinging off.

  • 5b. Perfect the final shape of the acrylic nails with a file and buffer. And then cleanse the nails with a nail wipe before applying your gel/polish.
