it smells lovely, has eco-friendly packaging, and feels leaves my hair feeling very soft and fluffy.

It took a bit of getting-used-to the nature of this product. I usually expect bars like this to work up a nice foamy lather. That doesn’t happen with this. The more you work it, the more it makes your hair feel slick. That slickness is difficult to wash out. It sort of feels similar to soft-water.

The other downside to this is that that slickness will get on the floor of the shower and make it slippery. Not great.

Overall I don’t dislike this product, though i’d probably only recommend using it while taking a bath and not in a stand-up shower.

This shampoo bar is really nice quality and has clean ingredients, which is why I ordered it. My husband loved it. However, my hair was a little too fine for how moisturizing this was. It left my hair looking a little greasy. I think this would be great for very thick dry hair or for men’s hair, but not if your hair is fine or oily. In that case, one of their other formulas would probably be better.

I’ve used several different bar type shampoo’s so I had high hopes for this one. Unfortunately it didn’t live up to any of my expectations.

It arrived in an unsealed container with no plastic around the bar of soap. The soap itself felt kind of sticky when I took it out of the packaging. The scent of it was totally unpleasant. I didn’t detect any hint of cucumber or coconut, but merely a disinfectant kind of smell. In fact, I couldn’t get the smell off of my hands. The soap did not lather well at all and I didn’t feel that I got enough lather to clean my hair. I ended up rewashing my hair to try and get it cleaner after using this bar.

Unfortunately this is not something I would ever purchase again.

I love a good shampoo bar. I have had good luck with shampoo bars making my hair look great so I ordered Danyelli Laurette Naturally Nourished Cucumber Lime Conditioner Bar. The bar arrived in a discolored box that looks like something was spilled on it. I smelled the soap and have concerns it might be spoiled because the scent reminded me of a truck stop restroom. I took it in the shower and used it on my hair. The lather was okay but the smell did not change for the better. My hair turned out soft but didn’t feel overly clean. This shampoo bar is good for gentle cleaning but it’s does not give a deep clean. Overall, for me this shampoo bar is not worth the price because I think the product lacks in overall quality and package presentation.

Although it says to use the provided trey, I ended up throwing it away since it had that black substance. I also cut off the black substance that was on the conditioning bar before using. I didn’t want to assume what it was but seeing it caused me to reduce a star from my rating.

I have short, bleached and very fine hair. I am skeptical of using too many products on my hair as too often, it just flattens it down…usually too heavy. Then, once I blew it dry, it was still soft feeling but no heaviness…and it stayed that way all day. So, this is a really nice product. I like that there is no plastic bottle to deal with. It even comes with a nice small box to keep it in so that it is not laying on the shelf in the shower. As for the scent…not so keen as the lime is a little strange smelling. But it does not stay and once rinsed out, did not notice anything after that. I think this is a really nice product and will use it in the furture.

This was an interesting bar overall. Its did not make soap suds even once on my hair..even after shampooing the third time in the same round. It rinsed off easily and left the hair smelling great!. However though my hair dried out quite well and looked good…it felt super stiff like I had put a firm hold spray on it. The feeling persisted and my hair became oily quite fast. I used this bar many times just to make sure and yes..my hair felt stiff. My husband used it a few times and had a similar feedback though he did not mind the stiffness much. Maybe it was just my hair. The bar did really well in the shower and appears it will last a long time.
