Customer Questions and Answers

Q: How do I use this product? 🤔

A: Nail grooming is necessary and humane because most pets don’t wear down their nails. Doing it once a month is a good rule. Not grooming nails regularly can cause the nails to grow so long that it is painful for the dog to walk. And the nail can curve and ingrow causing infection. Puppy’s nails grow faster than adult dogs so they may need their nails trimmed more often.

Q: How do I take care of it? 🧼

A: If the blades become dull they can be replaced with a Resco Blade Replacement PF0400 (1 blade) or PF0440 (6 blades). No more nail trimmer purchases! With your Resco Dog Nail Trimmer you’ll only need to replace your blade if it gets dull.

Q: Is this a good gift for my pet? 🎁

A: Absolutely! This is a professional’s choice for nail trimming, used by groomers and veterinarians worldwide. It’s known for its solid steel construction and clean cuts, ensuring your pet’s health and comfort.

Q: What makes Resco different from other nail trimmers? 🔥

A: Resco invented the guillotine style nail trimmer and has proudly manufactured them in the USA since 1937. Plus, they’re made with premium chrome plating for durability, comfort, and shine, and are recommended by vets and groomers worldwide!

Q: Is this suitable for different types of pets? 🐶🐦🐀🐇

A: While primarily designed for dogs, Resco Nail Trimmers have also been used for trimming pet bird beaks and claws, clipping the teeth of laboratory rats, trimming rabbit nails, and trimming ferret nails. They are a versatile tool!
