  I bought these nails specifically to use with my silicone practice hand. I have been using them for practicing and teaching myself to do acrylic and polygel nails. They work well for that since the long length of these nails fit the hand well when attached beneath the silicone cuticle. They stay secure on the hands, without even using any glue to keep them attached. Depending on how deep they are in the cuticle pocket, they can be like a short or medium length nails on the hand. With the narrow coffin tip and high c-curve on these nails, they don’t fit the nail beds on the hand quite as naturally as some otger nails, but they have such a nice shape, it makes creating beautiful acrylics or polygel nails easy. I do recommend them for use with a practice hand of this type.

  On my own hands, I prefer short length nails, so I wouldn’t wear these nails myself. That said, I did try them on for the review. So far as longer nails go, these do have a nice, tapered shape, though they are way too long for me, especially as a pre-kindergarten teacher. They also have a high c-curve, so they don’t really fit comfortably on my natural, flatter nails and it takes a lot of glue to get them to stick. These nails are moderately flexible, so they may bend at the connection, but they are strong enough, especially at the tip, that I wouldn’t worry they would break during everyday wear, especially if built up with a strong gel polish or acrylic.
